Safety

The University of Richmond faculty, staff and Police Department work hard to ensure that our campus is safe and comfortable for all of our students and their visitors. Upon first arriving on the Richmond campus, each student receives instructions on how to stay as safe as possible during their time here.

In addition to providing preventative measures, such as the campus Safety Shuttle, video surveillance, and blue light alert systems, we encourage students to become familiar with crime alerts and the steps necessary to file a complaint. Students are even welcome to file anonymous complaints regarding any type of crime they witness.
