First-Year Residence Programs
We are proud of our dynamic first-year residence programs, which are designed to enhance co-curricular learning and build a community of students around shared academic interests. Some of these first-year experiences feature live-in communities with themed housing, such as Substance-Free housing, Ready for Moore - our leadership development community, and Women in Science.
These special residential communities help many residents find their niche soon after arriving on campus. They also reflect the University’s commitment to student engagement outside the classroom and nourishing close relationships between students and faculty.
Plus, each residence hall has an upper-class resident assistant and President's College Associate that are available to assist students every step of the way through their first year of college.
