Kaley Gileau

Kaley Gileau is the main contact for scheduling meetings with Dean Mia Reinoso Genoni, Associate Dean Kerry Albright Fankhauser, Assistant Dean Ashley Daly, and Associate Dean Zara Sibtain. She helps students get timely support and guidance for both routine and urgent matters, including being a touchpoint for families, faculty, staff, and other community members. Working with Dean Genoni, Kaley assists students with forms and recommendations for graduate school, scholarships, jobs, internships, transfer applications, and other opportunities, and supports the deans with the conduct process. In addition, she helps to organize a variety of Westhampton events, including the Connecting Womxn of Color Dinner, community gatherings, and the end-of-semester Study Breaks.

Originally from Northern Virginia, Kaley moved to Richmond in 2018 to pursue her degree at VCU, graduating in 2023 with a B.A. in History. Among other professional experience, Kaley served as a committee member and Administrative Assistant for The Judy Project/The Dwelling at Richmond Hill, working on the Unearthing Buried Stories exhibit in 2023-24, and as an archival intern for the Beth Ahabah Museum & Archives in 2019. In addition to spending time exploring Richmond, she enjoys crocheting, cooking, baking, and reading. She is excited to be a part our campus community and be a source of support for our students.
